Samsung Galaxy A82 Signed Off by Google Play Console; Here Are the Design and Specifications

 After the recent debut of the Samsung Galaxy A72, A52, and A32, the leaks surrounding the Galaxy A82 surfaced once again, pointing to an upcoming launch. It’s a follow-up to the Galaxy A80 from 2019 that featured an intrusion-free screen and a flip-over camera. But the A82 isn’t as nearly as ambitious in its design. It was found listed on Google Play Console with a front preview attached. Here’s what it reveals.


First things first, the Samsung Galaxy A82 has gone through some serious updates. The swiveling camera system has been replaced with a standard hole-punch layout. Samsung has also trimmed off the bezel to the very edges, retaining at least some of the “all-screen” experience of the Galaxy A80.

Google Play Console also documents the Galaxy A82’s system specifications. You can find it listed under the codename “Galaxy A Quantum 2” or the model number “a82xq.” The screen peaks at a 1080P resolution and a pixel density of 450 ppi. 


The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ is the driving engine inside the new addition to the Samsung price list. The chipset is just as old as the A82's predecessor and works with 6GB of memory (also with 4GB.) Naturally, the latest OneUI 3, powered by Android11, runs on the phone.

These details cover the Google Play certification, but from previous leaks, we know that the Samsung Galaxy A82 has the 64MP Sony IM686 sensor. Although this latest product image contradicts it, the industry analyst Evan Blass says that the Galaxy A82 will incorporate a “dual-use camera” which suggests a flipping or sliding camera mechanism. More details should surface as we get closer to the phone’s upcoming summer launch.

  After the   Realme C17   & C15 launch, the C21 is the newest entry in Realme’s budget C-series. Following its debut, it’s now headed to Pakistan, sources told WhatMobile. We also have the suspected pricing and memory details. It’s built on the same formulaic design as the C-series phones, so there’s little to unpack here.
